Zaostrog

Village with harbor is situated by the Zastrog bay at Makarska Riviera on the northwest from Ploc.

Zaostrog has a two parts: the old one located under the hills of mountain Biokovo (Viter 769) and the new part located at the coast. Beaches are sandy and around are pines trees and olive trees. The monastery from 16th or 17th century includes ethnographic collection, library and archive
